About Bendigo Bank


 

The history of Bendigo Bank goes back to 1858 when it was established as a building society during the Victorian Gold Rush. In 1998, amid widespread closing of branches by 'The Big Four', Bendigo Bank surprised Australia by establishing new branches and offering a more personal friendly community service.

That service remains today as customers at the two local branches will quickly attest.

In the Hawkesbury JW Chandler have been helping the bereaved at the time of their greatest need for over 120 years. During this time JW Chandler's hearses have changed but their service and dedication have not.
